Garlock Style RWP Spiralwound Gasket With Outer Ring And Partitions
| Custom configurations of Garlock RWP Gaskets With Centering Rings have in common a spiral winding containing preformed metal and soft filler material, centering ring which accurately aligns the gasket on the flange face, and acts as a compression limiter and provides additional radial strength. The partitions (ribs/bars) are generally of double Jacketed metal construction with soft filler material enclosed by the metal jacket and welded to the gasket ID. The rib can be furnished un attached.
This style of Gasket can also be provided with an inner ring to act as a compression limiter and protect the sealing element from process media attack. |
