Garlock QuickSet® 9001*

QuickSet 9001 packing sets are die-formed from two distinct types of flexible graphite materials.  The center preform rings are made from 95% (minimum) purity flexible graphite tape. The adapter rings, which also perform as anti-extrusion rings, are die-formed from Style 1303-FEP, which is an Inconel** wire reinforced flexible graphite braid.  This combination of materials ensures sure sealing in a wide variety of valve applications, including critical control valves, and can be utilized in all types of industries, such as refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, and power generation facilities. The combination of materials, densities and angles produces leak-free sealing with very low actuation torque.  Typically, the set consists of a total of five rings, although the design can be modified to fit shallow stuffing boxes.
