Garlock Garfite^® 200

Highly graphitized yarn, combined with Garlock high quality production/inspection processes, gives Garfite 200 excellent performance in extreme pressure/temperature situations.  With excellent resistance to chemicals, plus good thermal  conductivity, Garlock G-200 graphitic packing  retain all of its volume and doesn’t harden in use, making replacement easier. A premium grade graphite yarn packing that is rugged enough to meet many industrial high-temperature applications. Compared to most braided packings, it reduces shaft wear, requires less run-in, and better resists many strong chemicals.  Low coefficient of friction and good thermal conductivity make G-200 ideal for rotary shafts of pumps, agitators, mixers, crystallizers, filters, continuous digesters, reciprocating pump rods, and slip-type expansion joints.
