Garlock 8968

A packing formulated expressly as a superior replacement for temperature-resistant asbestos/Ptfe and various synthetic packings, Style 8968 is an extremely economical high-temperature packing. Run-in is easier thanks to a special break-in lubricant. Good thermal conductivity coupled with low thermal expansion keeps shaft or sleeve wear low, minimizing downtime.  The primary metals and other industries find it an excellent choice for centrifugal or rotary pumps and agitators.
